The 2nd International Vilnius Neuroscience Conference for Young Researchers

After a successful launch last year, the 2nd International Vilnius Neuroscience Conference for Young Researchers will bring together young investigators in clinical neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neuroscience, and related fields to present their work, connect with peers, and learn from invited speakers.

Alongside invited lectures, a major part of the conference will feature presentations by undergraduate and graduate students, resident doctors, and young researchers. Separate sessions will be held in neurology, neurosurgery, toxicology, psychiatry, and neuroscience. Prizes will be awarded to the best speakers.

Prof. Osvaldas Rukšėnas

Prof. Osvaldas Rukšėnas

Prof. Osvaldas Rukšėnas is a professor of physiology and neurobiology at the Life Sciences Center of Vilnius University, where he heads the Department of Neurobiology and Biophysics. His research focuses on neural information processing, cognitive neuroscience, and the physiological mechanisms underlying brain function and behavior. Prof. Rukšėnas has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed significantly to the development of neuroscience research and education in Lithuania.
